It is a Dutch tradition to celebrate the New year by making "Oliebollen".
It is one of the reasons I love being Dutch!!!!
I hired a VERY cute Oliebollen maker....
It starts like this...
and ends with a plate full of yumminess!!!
Time for a delicious bite...
A fun way to begin the new year....
and one more reason to put the diet off for a few more days!!!

I'm a little slow at getting around to some of my favorite blogs and I'm sure glad I didn't miss yours! Yum, yum I haven't had those since I was young at my Gramma's house in Iowa. I guess my Mom didn't think they were healthy so never made them. I love the baker, so precious! Thanks for a childhood memory and here's to a great 2012!
Your mom is so sweet!!! Yummy goodies there for sure.
