Did you know we were gone.....did you miss me ????
We have been on quite the adventure. In a nutshell it goes like this...... 5, 819 miles travelled thru 11 states, to see 5 National Parks, and I got to see 9 quilt shops.
Jim will say that "I" got to do more, but the truth is my quilt shop visits were counted in minutes, while the National Parks were counted in days!!!!
More facts....how about we had one road kill (yuk), one parking ticket and one near miss on a freeway ( so good to be home). We also averaged 48 miles per gallon. Thank you sweet Prius!!!!
Jim and his camera spent the majority of the time doing this.....
....and enjoying a great ball game.
I kept busy doing this...which led me to some awesome quilt shops.
I also finished knitting one baby sweater and began the next one.
I also kept very busy with Jim's Father's Day present to himself...an IPAD. Ok, sorry Jim that I got super angry about your gift and I promise to give it back to you someday!!!
It also made the miles seem less knowing that we would be spending time with this very sweet guest at her Grandpa's retirement party.
So over the next few days I will fill you in on all the fun details. The thought of this trip before we left was overwhelming...but it was MORE fun and filled with MORE adventures than I could have dreamed of.
But for now I am hugging a kitty who was very lonely and washing a mountain of clothes from the trip. It is SEW good to be home, but we are already planning the next event!!!

Sounds like fun, looking forward seeing the pictures and hearing your stories.
Sounds like you had a great time, the thing I always miss most is my own bed.
Oh yes, I missed you and am glad to have you back.
What a great vacation. We would like to do that someday.
Loved seeing Clare. My she is growing and so cute. I love doing my hand work in the car. Your sweater was a good project.
Nine quilt stores, wow that must have been fun. Hope you got some inspiration to share.
I didn't know about the National Park pass. We would both qualify for that.
Look forward to more of your adventures. You sure covered a lot of territory.
