Time to be Merry and Bright....

Tis the season.....

For Santa to keep watch by the door.....

Making sure everyone is NICE and not NAUGHTY!!!!!

We keep in our hearts the "Reason for the Season".....

....and enjoy this time to create both Christmas whimsy,

...and to showcase favorite Holiday quilts!!!!

Our Santa plate is rarely empty of cookies.....

....and our Snowman family overlooks our dining area from the top of the buffet!

Santa visits at our table.....

....and our hearth is full of Santa's collected over the years.

On display too are lots of my Christmas Cross Stitch.....

....but my favorite decoration this year is a card I received last year from my dear friend and student Julie. She knew we were anxiously awaiting Clare's birth and wrote a sweet note in this card.

What she couldn't have known ( and to everyone's astonishment), the bitty girl in the sled looks EXACTLY like our CLARE....even to the round red cheeks.

I guess it is just one more magical Christmas moment...and I wish you all many of the same!!!!

How very festive and pretty!!! :)) Wish I were there to tour and see all the cute little things that I know are around... the ones that a person could miss with a quick sweep of the eye. :) LOVE the quilt hanging over the banister... the hearts caught my eye! :) I miss you all and wish you a very Merry Christmas!! Sending you love and hugs!
