Dreams really do come true.....

We are home again...did you miss me????

We spent the most glorious month in Europe.
When people ask us what we enjoyed most, we can only answer that we enjoyed it ALL!!!!

I DID get to see Beatrix Potter's lovely cottage....
and then burst into tears when I walked out the door.

The emotions of completing the bucket list wish overwhelmed me.
It was magical.

I felt like I was living in a fairy tale....visiting sweet cottages,

....and hard to imagine palaces.
 It was all breathtaking.

We stayed in some lovely Bed and Breakfasts.

We saw sites that I will NEVER forget.

We enjoyed all of the local favorites....pubs in Ireland were the best.

Pastry in Paris did NOT disappoint!!!

We balanced the indulgences with some much needed exercise.

The gardens were amazing.

Is there anything more romantic than Paris in the Springtime....

....unless it would be enjoying the Eiffel Tower at sunset.

After 39 years of marriage, it is wonderful to share these special times together.

Family was never far from our hearts.

Whether shopping for treats for the little ones....

....or catching up on blogs or by FaceTime !!!

We travelled by plane, by train and by boat,
with my journal there to record each delightful event.

We know we are mighty blessed....
.and my feet have literally not touched ground since we are home.

There is still so much to tell, and I hope you don't mind if I share it all.

I promise to balance my stories with quilts I have been working on
and cute things I have made the little ones.

I have returned home refreshed and inspired.
Yes....a dream come true in every way.
