Well the Elves have finished their job, and the eldest Elf has a sore back to prove the amount of effort that went into decorating our home. Remember you can click on each picture to see any of the details ......
I miss the time in my life when Christmas would mean the eyes of children looking excitedly at the transformation of our home.
Those children now have homes of their own, but the snowman knows we are still family....and that makes decorating our home so worthwhile.
I am grateful to God for the gift of being able to create....and at Christmastime our home is a reflection of that gift.
This bitty tree in our kitchen holds our vintage cookie cutter collection.
Santa watches over our dining table. The Lone Star quilt is one of my favorites.
Christmas basket quilt ....and Christmas cookies. Both are looked forward to each season.
Small quilts are as dear as can be.....
This Double Wedding Ring quilt holds a cake stand and cloche that is filled with ornaments from the tree our family had when I was a child.
Each chair has a quilt, and tables are covered in holiday comfort.
This snowman family is on top of our dining buffet. They look very excited for Santa to visit!
This is also on our buffet....I love the vintage tea set that one of my students gifted me with.
This quilt is very special to me....piecing and applique are both something I enjoy. In each corner is a heart, to represent each person that has a place in our family.
But here is my favorite photo of all....a" Reason for the Season". In this holy time I can think of no greater gift than the one that was offered in Bethlehem. I hope you enjoyed a peek at our home , and our prayer is that it is a reflection of HIS love. Holiday blessings to all......

You always make Christmas SO magical! Our home is as gorgeous as can be! I love it!
Oh Annie! Your home looks so warm and lovely! I'd say you got a lot of quilting done -- they're all so pretty. I love them all -- but, I think the quilt with the hearts in the corner is my favorite! Thanks so much for sharing with us!
Thank you for letting us visit your lovely home. So warm and full of good cheer.
Your quilts are all so wonderful...I love the one in the third picture, I can see a hat and Christmas lights...can we see the whole thing? Pleeeeeze? Is it a pattern?
Anne, You have made me rethink my decorating scheme. I was ready to put away some of the decorations and keep it simple this year. Now I am feeling like Scrooge. I'll have to get to work tonight after work. Thanks
