Jim and I were in search of Fall color....and of course you can't go to Oregon and not stop at Harry and Davids. The store was full of fresh and delicious fruits and tasting tables to entice you to buy LOTS.
It was a fun first day in Oregon, but the hunt for color was a daily event.
We saw trees like these......
....and these too.
We found farm stands galore.....
....and made sure that daily lunches were supplemented with Oregon's bounty.
Who could resist apples ripe and juicy....and still on the tree????
Maybe the most memorable day was spent in a redwood forest. Tiny glimpses of fall color deep within the woods...a soft rain and the scent of trees. It was unforgettable.

I am so jealous! These pictures bring to life what I see in the cute little book you guys got me about leaves changing color. Oh, how I love the Fall. XO
