Sew and Sew.....

Yes....finally a SEWING post!!!!

Bitty boy has grown into bitty toddler
and Mom and Dad wanted an update to his room.

Mommy picked out some sophisticated fabrics,
Daddy helped to paint the room,
and Oma got busy with her sewing machine.

A cute bunting to match.....

....a fun quilt that Mommy loves.

No pattern needed. Just patches that turn into circles.

Lots of PERSONALITY !!!!

I even braved quilting it....
not perfect, but bitty boy will love it all the same.

Of course there has been "girly" sewing too.

This darling pattern is a PDF by one of my favorite bloggers.

Highly recommend the blog AND the pattern.

Here is the same dress in my FAVORITE of all time fabric.

Just love the pink elephant!!!!

It is getting close to "Present Season".....
SEW I had to treat myself.

I love this online source.

Great prices, lovely fabrics
and they even wrapped all the goodness I ordered.

My unwrapped present.

SEW SWEET!!!!

And speaking of presents.....BIG happy dance!!!!

My new serger. Love that it "air threads".
No more stress...just hours and hours of joyous serging.

It looks like there is going to be some happy SEW time in my future.

You beat me to it! I need to post about his completed room with all of the beautiful things you did for it. Thank you so much as always for your incredible talent and thoughtfulness. And that second dress is the cutest dress I have ever seen in my entire life. That fabric is SO perfect for it! Love you and hope you rest up today. You deserve it!

All those projects are wonderful to look at -- how lucky your grand babies are! Now my question is: What the heck is a serger? It looks VERY impressive!

It's going to be a darling room for the Bitty Boy to grow into and the dresses are darling. I must be so behind the times and my serger must be an antique------air threading, how wonderful.

I know what a serger is, but what's "air threading??" I got a hand me down serger and haven't played with it yet since it looks so intimidating! Love all that you sew!

Donovan's quilt is so cute and just says "boy" with it's colors and round shapes...like balls.

The dresses are adorable. Especially love the one with the border print. I have not seen that print...sew cute.

Love that fabric site too. I resisted this last sale, but now after seeing your stack of pretties, I'm having second thoughts. LOL
