For the "Love of Tulips".....
...we travel each year to the magical gardens of Filoli.
The story goes that Lurline was selling the estate,
but only if the new owner would allow the gardens to be enjoyed by many.
The prospective buyer refused, and instead
Lurline gifted Filoli so we could all enjoy its beauty.
I am so grateful for her generosity.
Each garden is abundant with tulips....
Beauty that fills my soul with joy....
....and amazes me with the "gift of Spring".
The morning light adds a freshness,
The morning dew is a delight for both the tulips and for me.
Can you imagine the joy of walking these gardens daily?
What a gift it is to be enchanted each April.
The added joy of walking thru the doors
and enjoying the estate is another glorious gift.
So I walk from garden to garden.....
Enjoying each bloom.
Feeling blessed to be surrounded by such beauty.
Hoping to enjoy it again next Spring.

Beautiful! It looks a bit like our Keukenhof! It seems the weather is better over there though. What a nice place to visit!
