This weekend of Easter was incredibly special for our family.
We traveled to Las Vegas to celebrate the Baptism
of my cousin and her adorable daughter Cora.
There was an awesome luncheon before the service.
Many of my favorite people were there!!!
Clare helped to unwrap the gifts....
....and Laurel brought her precious smile!!!
We were deeply touched and honored to be chosen as Cora's Godparents.
Equally proud was my cousin Ed....brother to Deb and Uncle to Cora.
Oma would not have missed this special celebration.
She also remembered that it was 65 years ago THAT day that she too was baptized.
How amazing is that????
But MOST proud of all was my cousin's sweet husband Ron.
How cute is this picture with their daughter Cora?
Ron is suffering brain cancer.
It breaks all of our hearts, but he finds strength and peace in our God, and in his Church family.
He could use your prayers....but on this day his smile says it all.
He made me this Rosary. I was humbled by the gift.
I will use it to say prayers for his healing and that his family will be surrounded by His peace.
It was the most meaningful Easter.....
a day filled with God's love and the joy of being surrounded by family.
I will treasure it always .

Beautiful! What a faith and hope filled Easter for your family! That rosary is just lovely, and will be treasured always for so many reasons! I love the beads he used to make it.
