My New Year did NOT begin on a happy note.
I had a touch of the FLU.
No Rose Parade, no "Dutch Oliebollen", but I did feel better the next day.
Better enough to head back to the sewing room and start some fun new projects.
I thought about some New Year sewing resolutions.
I am going to TRY and "use up" lots of my stash.
So I found some cute Valentine's stash and made a couple of tabletoppers.
I even got them quilted, so I am ready to put Christmas behind me,
and think of all things Romantic!!!
I even found the backings in my stash.
Six days into the New Year and I have not broken my resolution YET!!!
Easy projects, but SEW satisfying.
I even got the binding on this quilt that I finished LAST year.
My next post will share what I DID BUY at the end of the year.
Resolutions are a tricky thing.
How are yours going????

Very pretty stash busters! I'm with you, 6 days into the new year, and I haven't broken my resolution yet to not buy fabric!!
Sew cute table toppers. I really want to do a runner or topper for Valentines. I have plenty of stash too, and I could get it machine quilted and be done too...
Well, I have good intentions anyway. Very good start on your resolution.
Sorry you have been under the weather, but glad to hear you are well enough to sew now.
I know where there is some beautiful Valentines fabric...better not go there.
lol.
That is my resolution for the year also - need to use this stash. I have lots of projects and know I have the fabric to take care of it. I love your Valentines table toppers.
Glad the flu didn't hang around long and your are off to a running start now with the New Year.
Blessings,
Darlene
Very cute!
Ooo....how cute these little quilts are. Can not believe you can make so many in such a short time!
